You have to let others know how much you \nlove each other! <\/p>\n<p>People want to know that their relationship with a brand is unique, so they tend to \ngravitate towards brands appropriate to their emotions\/personal needs. <\/p>\n<p>If you can find a way to show your audience how you understand them and do it \nuniquely, then there\u2019s a good chance you will convert them into customers. The heart-\nbrain connection is critical to brand appeal and how brands can connect with core \nstakeholders. <\/p>\n<p>Even when they say that the wisest thing any company can do to protect itself is \ncultivating an image of transparency, there is still something more. <\/p>\n<p>Successful companies worldwide aren\u2019t necessarily the ones with the best product or \nservices. Instead, they invest their energy into branding and connecting emotionally with \npeople. <\/p>\n<p>And, It\u2019s something scientific too. <\/p>\n<p>Marketing must focus on engaging your audience with emotions and facts later. Good \nmarketing is emotional marketing. It is a fact of neurology. <\/p>\n<h5>The reptilian brain <\/h5>\n<p>When I say brands have to be seeded in people\u2019s emotional heads, it is in their heads, \nnowhere else! <\/p>\n<p>Have you heard about this reptilian brain of hoomans? <\/p>\n<p>The oldest part of the brain is the reptilian area, which governs our instinct to survive \nand avoid pain. This area makes decisions for us! <\/p>\n<p>So, you don\u2019t necessarily have to threaten people\u2019s lives to get their attention. If your \nbrand can communicate better to solve their brain\u2019s pain, the reptilian brain is potent \nand an instant way to connect with people.  <\/p>\n<p>Keep things simple: the reptilian brain can\u2019t wrap its head around complexity. <\/p>\n<p>People make emotional decisions when purchasing something. Your product, for \nexample, might not be the cheapest, and customers will buy it based on emotion rather \nthan rationality.  <\/p>\n<p>The reptilian brain doesn\u2019t focus on details; it focuses on generalities and associated \nwith things that make people happy, like warmth, family, and celebration.<\/p>\n<p>Talking about the problems your product can solve is an essential part of selling to a \npotential customer. If you\u2019re trying to get people to buy a piece of software, you\u2019ll want to \ntalk about how much time it can save them.  <\/p>\n<p>However, if you\u2019re selling a more creative solution, you\u2019ll want to focus on how much \neasier your product makes the creative process.  <\/p>\n<p>The point is, don\u2019t just sell the product. Talk about why people should buy it and how it \nwill naturally benefit them. <\/p>\n<p>Several studies suggest that consumers have become mindless rather than mindful \ndecision-makers. This is because their emotions have the power to cloud their thinking \nand their ability to evaluate or assess the options available to them.<\/p>\n<p>When we see a product, brand or even service, we subconsciously assess whether it is \ngood to buy or not. You may have needed to buy a new car or decide between two \ndresses. Of course, you want to trust your gut, but how can you? Why is that?<\/p>\n<p>Some powerful psychological forces in decision-making make us go with our instincts \nrather than the rational thought process. It could result from a fascinating phenomenon \nin which people focus on emotional responses more than any other aspect of an \nexpensive purchase.  <\/p>\n<p>Sure, it plays some role since the different layers often influence each other, but \ninstincts are hard to ignore!! <\/p>\n<p>Although you don\u2019t have many competitors, customers can be difficult to please when \nthey try to decipher what makes you different from them.  <\/p>\n<p>With this in mind, let\u2019s talk about price. Price can be a strong selling point, but if you can \nprove the value your product or service will provide for customers, the cost will take a \nbackseat as the primary consideration. With this approach, you\u2019ll demonstrate why \nbuying from you is an instinctually good move.  <\/p>\n<p>Even when you consider pricing, customer satisfaction and other factors, customers rely \non their gut to make a final decision. We all have these mental mainframes that act like \nshortcuts that quickly lead us to a conclusion. <\/p>\n<h5>Talk about them. <\/h5>\n<p>Your audience and tribe are most likely thinking about themselves and their tribe. Why \nnot give it a closer look? <\/p>\n<p>Traditional advertising methods have become less and less effective. People are more \nconcerned about how companies treat them as individuals rather than their experience \nwith the brand.  <\/p>\n<p>Your consumers are more likely to concentrate if you talk about themselves. <\/p>\n<p>When creating branding content, it\u2019s super-important to consider how the product will \nbenefit your target audience. Don\u2019t assume that they know. Create a story and make \nthem feel great. <\/p>\n<p>Appealing to your emotional side while grounding it with facts and providing solutions is \na powerful way to sell and market your service. People will want to know more; they will \nwant to buy from you. The conversations will shift towards solving their real problems \nrather than figuring out how to be relevant. <\/p>\n<p>You may be familiar with the cliched marketing phrase, \u201cPeople don\u2019t want to buy a \nquarter-inch drill; they want a quarter-inch hole.\u201d This quote is an important reminder for \nus marketers to stop talking specs and start talking benefits. People don\u2019t care about \nyour product, but they care about themselves. So it\u2019s up to us to show them how they \nwill feel when they have our product. <\/p>\n<p>Branding is not about pushing your wares onto people.
